VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS

REQUIREMENTS:

· Willingness to sit in class after working all day

· Able to get out of bed at any hour of the night, dress and be at the station in a few minutes

. Understanding from loved ones (knowledge of when to respond and when not to)

HOURS:

· 24 hours a day, seven days a week

PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT:

· Anywhere someone needs your help

JOB TITLES:

· Hose toter, ladder setter, water hauler, firefighter, counselor, care-giver, life-saver

MUST SHOW:

· Courage, strength, bravery, heroics, diplomacy and good judgment

RATE OF PAY:

· As much as you can take away in your heart. The truly worthwhile things in life will cost you something

SVFD Specialized Training

First Responders Recert & Certification began January 26th. Every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m and Full day training on Sunday, March 6th.
